Hi All,
Here is what will be happening for underwater hockey on Monday nights at Hobart Aquatic Centre, starting next Monday 13th Oct and through to Monday 15th Dec. The Term 4 Juniors Competition will operate in Court 3 from 7.30 – 8.15pm. Registrations for this comp close TODAY 7th Oct. Here is the registration link: https://events.mygameday.app/event/term4juniorcompetition2025 If you experienced the skills sessions that were provided over several Monday nights of last year, you’ll know how good they were! They are great as a training introduction for new players to our sport but also good for everyone (‘old’ or new) to learn new skills and/or improve on existing skills. Skills sessions for Senior players (and for any Juniors who play in the Wednesday Pennant Comp) will also run on these Monday nights, during 7.30 – 8.15pm, in Courts 1 & 2, with 3 – 4 groups and with each group led by 1 – 2 trainers. There is no cost for participating in these skills sessions (as it’s covered by your Pennant 2 registration) and no need to register. But if you do wish to participate in the skills sessions, please be at the pool at 7.30pm and be ready so the sessions can start on time. The first 10 – 15 mins may include tuition on the pool deck prior to getting wet. And note that from 8.15 – 9.15pm on these Monday nights, following the Juniors comp and skills sessions activity, training will be ‘as per normal’. TUHA Committee Term 4 Juniors Competition

Re Pennant 2 - 2025. Referees In order for the forthcoming pennant to run properly and at its best, we need more qualified referees to participate. TUHA is seeking Level 1 or higher qualified referees, to ref games across all grades. This is to provide a better experience for all participants and to provide mentoring and training for developing referees, to enable them to join the Guild Referees pool. Guild Referees are paid per game refereed. Can anyone interested please contact Harry van der Woude via email at [email protected] Pennant info The Pennant 2 Captains Meeting will be held on evening of 23/7/2025. Can any player who: *wishes to change teams within a grade, or *wishes to move up or down grades, or *wishes to become a Recruit into a higher grade, or *wishes to return to the sport after a hiatus please contact me via email at [email protected] prior to 21/7/2025. Everyone, please canvas any old players who have expressed a desire to return to the sport. Now is the ideal time for them to make their return!
