Due to the COVID-19 situation we must comply with the following requirements prior to and upon entering the pool. Please also ensure that you follow any directions from pool staff in relation to COVID-19 procedures.

General Hygiene Measures
  • Sharing of equipment is not permitted. Including but not limited to underwater hockey sticks, masks, snorkels, caps, fins, training equipment, etc.;
  • Ensure your equipment is clean and in good working condition prior to the pennant start;
  • Team captains must wipe down all shared equipment with sanitiser at the end of each pennant game;
  • Social distancing rules apply to all pennant games poolside. 1.5m distancing and enter the pool one at a time if possible;
  • Shower at home prior to pennant games and wear clean clothing (Note - no showers will be available, only toilet access in the changerooms);
  • Shower at home after games and wash clothing to reduce transmission risks;
  • Wash your hands before and after games. There will be hand sanitiser on the desk;
  • Take care to store your mouthguard appropriately when not in use;
  • Do not share drink bottles, clothing, towels etc.;
  • No spitting in the pool;
  • Bring your full water bottle to games with your name clearly visible on the bottle. Players are not to share water bottles;
  • Water fountain usage is discouraged.

Equipment
  • Shared equipment such as scoring pads, electronic and static scoring equipment will be cleaned, disinfected after each use;
  • TUHA will use products that are antiviral, meaning it can kill the virus, such as chlorine-based disinfectants or freshly made, diluted bleach solution in accordance with Department of Health guidelines.

Movement in and out of the DKHAC
  • Venue entry and exit should be separate with clear social distancing markings and signage displaying the key information relating to resumption of activities. TUHA will liaise with the DKHAC to ensure these protocols are met;
  • Upon arrival at the DKHAC all entrants must scan-in before entering the venue. TUHA has membership cards issued to all current financial members and tracking of member entry is available through the DKHAC;
  • Social distancing measures are maintained at the DKHAC desk as per their policy and all TUHA members should be aware of these measures;
And last, but not least....... If you are feeling sick, DON'T come to the pool!
